Cape Epic Wraps
The 600km, 16,000m of climbing MTB stage race came to a close with LTGP riders Hayley Preen and Alexis Skarda, finishing on the podium behind the dominating performance of Sofia Gomez-Villafañe and her partner Annika Langvad over the 27hrs of racing.
Haley Smith finished in 5th on the stage and 7th overall.
The final stage of the men’s event saw Matthew Beers and Keegan Swenson land in 3rd, their first podium of the week after a tough start, but in a respectable 10th overall.

Wild Card contender Anna Yamauchi opened up her ‘25 season with a win over veteran Katerina Nash. Bradyn Lange soloed away from Justin Peck and Pete Stetina. With just 2 weeks until Sea Otter, both are looking to continue their good form.
