European Season Opens at Santa Vall

New LTGP riders Mattia de Marchi, Axelle Dubau-Prevot, Tsgabu Grmay and Hugo Drechou were a few of the stars who came out for the Gravel Earth Series event just outside of Girona, Spain. In Stage 1, Annika Langvad won over UNBOUND 200 winner Rosa Kloser with Dubau-Prevot coming in 5th. Wildcard contender Emily Newsom in 9th. On the men’s side, de Marchi was just outside the top-20 with the win going to Magnus Bak.

On Stage 2, Hugo Drechou finished in 6th behind another UNBOUND 200 winner, Ivar Slik. De Marchi is 29th and Grmay 32nd. On the women’s side, surprise winner Anna Gabrielle Traxler took a big win, Dubai-Prevot in 3rd, winning out of a small group.

Grmay on the AdventureStache

New LTGP rider, Ethiopian Tsgabu Grmay sat down with veteran and 3rd place finisher in 2024, Payson McElveen. They go deep on Grmay’s backstory, how to pronounce “ssa-gaboo”, how he got into cycling, his long career in the pro peloton and what he’s looking forward to in 2025.

Hear from returning LTGP rider Griffin Easter

Appearing on Groadio, Easter talks with Amanda Nauman about transitioning from road to gravel, struggling with the discipline in 2023 and his 2024 breakout season. Griffin also talks about the team he started with his brother to promote the OpiCure Foundation, which they also run.

Morton’s Opus

UNBOUND 200 Winner Lachlan Morton rode around Australia faster than anyone, ever. Not a surprise to his fans around the world…more surprisingly, he jumped right back into race mode with more than 14,000km in his legs. All while raising $ for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

The documentary capturing each kilometer, the mental and physical challenge that Morton faced everyday – along with the impact of his fundraising – launches Feb 18th. Don’t miss it!
