Wild Card

  • 6 Wild Card spots (3 Men and 3 Women) will be announced after Life Time UNBOUND Gravel presented by Shimano on May 31, 2025. To be selected as a Wild Card, athletes will have had to have applied for the 2025 Life Time Grand Prix, have the qualifications to race in the pro corral, and compete in the 2025 additions of Life Time Sea Otter Classic Gravel and Life Time UNBOUND Gravel 200.
  • In addition to the 6 Wild Card spots mentioned above, more availability may open up if any of the LTGP athletes (22 men and 22 women) drop out. These additional spots will be determined by Life Time.
  • After UNBOUND Gravel, the LTGP leaderboard will be updated and re-scored to:
    1. Remove any athletes’ points if they drop out of the series
    2. Include the selected Wild Card athletes’ results from Sea Otter Gravel and UNBOUND Gravel.
  • Wild Card athletes will be scored against one another for Sea Otter Gravel and UNBOUND Gravel as outlined below:

Wild Card scoring is based on placement—1st place earns 1 point, 2nd place earns 2 points, 3rd place earns 3 points, and so on. The athlete with the lowest total score wins.

Scoring applies only to Wild Card athletes. For example, if a Wild Card athlete finishes 6th overall but is the first Wild Card finisher, they receive 1 point.

The Wild Card leaderboard will be updated after each of the first two races, and athletes will be notified after UNBOUND Gravel if they have qualified for the Life Time Grand Prix.

In the event of a tie after UNBOUND Gravel, the tie will be broken based on the fastest combined time across the two Wild Card events:

  • Life Time Sea Otter Classic Gravel – April 10, 2025
  • Life Time UNBOUND Gravel – May 31, 2025
